The upgrading and renovation plan of the Museum of Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil and his Wife has given priority to basic amenities for cultural and art activities. These amenities were also designed in such a way to act as vibrant medium between the visitor and the museum and
  its exhibits. Accordingly, an elegant building featuring the state-of-the-art architectural design was established to the right of the Museum Park. The building has a cafeteria, a gift shop and a modern lecture theatre. Moreover, the museum’s amenities include the Ofouq (horizon) One Gallery, which is one of the biggest and most beautiful galleries in Cairo, and is reserved for travelling exhibitions.

Accommodating 50 people, the cafeteria’s roof and walls are made of glass to give visitors the opportunity to admire the façade of the palace of Mohammed Mahmoud Khalil and its impressive garden. The air-conditioned cafeteria is fully-equipped to cater for the visitors’ tastes by serving tak-away meals, hot and cold drinks. It is also comfortably furnished.

Ofouq One:
One of the most attractive and largest galleries in Cairo, Ofouq One features the state-of-the-art technology and security system, is reserved for travelling exhibitions.

Open daily (except Monday) from 10.00 am to 8.00 pm

Lecture Room:
Fully-equipped with audio facilities and cabins for simultaneous translation immediate interpretation the 50-seat Lecture Room is air-conditioned and has modern facilities to screen video films and coloured slides.
